Race Rx

I am proud to announce that I now have the backing and sponsorship of Race RX for the up and coming 2015 race season.

Race Rx was conceived by a group of Scientists, Nutritionists, and Avid Triathletes that train together in San Diego. Like many others, we wanted a fuel that we could rely on to get us across the finish line, something that could support the human body through the rigors of a full Ironman. Like most, we were dissatisfied with the existing products which either failed to deliver the type of sustained energy we needed, tasted bad, or contained things we just don’t want to put in our bodies.

Triathlon is a tough event, on race day you’re nervous, your stomach is in a knot, and your pulse is racing. Throw in high temperatures, humidity, and prolonged exertion and you can really start to struggle. In that environment you need a rehydrating fuel source that is easy to drink and provides a slow release of energy that works with your body, not against it.

We started with a vision; to find a fuel source that could sustain a human body at a high level of exertion for an extended period of time. Something that was easy to consume, pleasant tasting, and had no adverse physiological effects (nausea, bloating, insulin spikes, etc.) After much research, trawling through scientific journals, consulting with experts, and a lot of trial and error, we found what we believe to be the single best fuel for anyone competing in endurance events. That fuel is the proprietary HDATM starch complex which lies at the heart of Race Rx.
